Last Day.

This is my last day in Puerto Rico. I had a very awesome day. Im going to upload the pictures later tho.

• I did not know that Puerto Rico was not a foreign country. You can actually come here without a passport.
• You can be 18 to buy acohol in Puerto Rico
• Puerto Ricans dont call themselves Americans
• They have 22 holidays
• They have won the Miss Universe 5 times.

• Thee largest telescope
• Largest rum distillery
• Popular torrist destination  

Traditional Holiday Dishes

Some of the holiday dishes are Rice, Roast Pork, Pasteles, etc.

I'm use to it .....

So, I did not know that the coffee I drink every morning orginated from Puerto Rico.
& The drink I also drink that orginated from here is rum. I love learning new things about food.! :)

Meal Schedule .

They eat at the same time as us (Americans). They eat a late dinner, which is about the same time we eat.

Asopao de Pollo

Common Dishes

While in Puerto Rico I tried one of the common dish, Asopao de Pollo (gumbo/stew). It is made chicken or pigeon peas.

Things that is also commmon is pork,mofongo, & rice

Cooking Style .

I have learned that the principle cooking style is called cocina criolla, which means creole cooking.

Climate.

Wheather here is wonderful, it is just right.! In Puerto Rico you enjoy a warm, tropical climate with temperatures of around 82°F throughout the year. But, short showers can be expected throughout the year.

So I decided to go to Puerto Rico for a vacation. Puerto Rico is located in the Caribbean, between the Caribbean Sea & the North Atlantic Ocean, east of the Dominican Republic.
